since 2010,america has played a vital role in Somalia, from fighting Terrorism to state building, from promoting democracy to humanitarian AID,traiing our Troops in which we saw Joint-American Special Commands conduct helicoptor Operations against the terrorists.somali-America relations are now as good as far,it has recognized the somali gov as a legitimate authority, promised to directly deal with them and increased financial/moral aid to the Gov.but may question is how do you think somalia can benefit the most from befriending and allying the worlds greetest nation, let me honest,i personally think, american is lagging behind in developmental side, should america increase direct foreign investment, create local jobs among the youth to fight terrorism, help somalia in energy sector etc
have your unbiased say.

We can't do anything as long as we are cursed with this leadership. US intelligence is not ready to work with them because of corruption and leaks to Al-Shabaab and the US government is keeping them at arm's length.

In the clearest sign yet of the growing frustration among western backers, James Clapper, the US director of national intelligence, last week castigated Mr Mohamud’s “weak leadership” and the “persistent political infighting” of his 16-month-old government.
