Except for my parents but my parents are one of a kind Wallahi. They always told us they loved us.

Did your parents ever told you that they loved you?

Do you know the true meaning of love?

I believe certain folks on here werent also hugged by their parents. No wonder they have issues.

My dad hugged me and complimented me quite a lot. My mum was a weird person anyway so meh.

The Q should be have you ever seen your parents express love for each other? Somali households appear to be so loveless.

Not really but i always liked my mom more cause she cared more about me

i remember this one time I went swimming with my friends and my dad was our ride

I called him when we were done he was like im on my way an hour and 30 mins later he arrived and I got happy cause he was running towards us maybe he felt bad he was late you know

And then he says hurry up and run we only got a 5 min parking spot

When I took a little beating my pops would say I didn't want to, but it's because I love you. Tbh I never really needed to hear it, I can see the love in their actions. I did tell them I love em quite a few times though

I've never heard the word 'love' ever uttered in our household.:fingerwag:

All I used to hear was aabo calling hoyo nayaahe and hoyo calling him waryahe:lol: Every evening they were bickering at each other for like 2 hrs and then head to their bedroom:dance:. In the morning all is good and both are happy like nothing happened yesterday.:cryinglaughsmiley:
