I am also talking about Somalis in the west a lot have extremely large foreheads they look no different to the ones back home other than being a few shades lighter.Somalis pre civil war and post look like two different races facially wise. Biggest changes must be the jaw structure & shoulder to hip ratio in current day Somalis not even the forehead. All cuz of malnourishment + born in a state of stress.
I'm talking about forehead here.Soft foods is the main drive behind the change in jawline.

Most back home have large foreheads in fact I am yet to see a somali that lives in Somalia have small forehead, something happenedThey were the same thing. It's normal. 20% of Somalis don't have a forehead and 20% have good hairlines .
Somalis back home, look too skinny and short to me, definitely malnourishment and bad food imported from abroad that are out of date or fake.n severe malnourishment
how did somali men get receding hairline? it can't be bad diet or hairstylesA high forehead is attractive, the issue is with receding foreheads caused by various things. With women, it's caused by too-tight hairstyles aka traction alopecia. It's important to switch up hairstyles etc. With men, I notice a lot of Somali men used to shape up their foreheard with razors, pushing back their hairline.
Also, back in the day Somali men used to grow their hair long, oil it etc, they used to pride themselves on their appearance, whereas post-colonialism, Western culture introduced more 'function' than style, with boring hair cuts etc, etc. If you look at Somalis back in the day, they had more flair/style/variety etc.
Long story short; look after yourself, don't follow trends, have hairstyles that suits you, eat good food/ancestral diet.
Interesting so we should introduce vitamin d in our community along with having a structured diet plan.Poot diet, stress, un-balanced hormones, and vitamin d deficiency = hair loss.
When your body doesn't have enough vitamin d, your keratinocytes seem to struggle regulating your natural hair cycle, reducing hair growth and increasing hair shedding. With lower vitamin d levels, the anagen (growth) phase of your hair cycle seems to shorten and your telogen (resting) phase seems to lengthen.
This is the big problem with the somalis in the west now a days.
I noticed there really skinny and short too and women have more weight than the guysSomalis back home, look too skinny and short to me, definitely malnourishment and bad food imported from abroad that are out of date or fake.
