I wouldn't be borthered to be honest.

But back home it's considered ceeb if someones little brother gets married before the elder brother

I remember back home when my 15 year old cousin married before his big bro

His father approved the marriage at first due to the fact he's young and immature and that he doesn't believe he could raise and take care of a family

My grandma talks with my uncle despite that he's against the marriage he later goes along with it

Fast forward a year later they live in miyiga the guy is 16 got a little daughter, he's out chilling with friends coming late my uncle goes and buys diapers and groceries for them and the wife wants a divorce cause he's lazy and lousy husband

Our family hierarchy is based on age. The first born is the boss and is the first of everything. Imagine the roasting if your much younger sibling marries before you.

Because that's when all the focus will be on you, and parents will attempt to play matchmaker and hook you up with their daughters.

Somali mothers love two things: Watching aroos videos and analyzing every lady's diraac outfit, and playing matchmaker.

They can't help themselves. It's in their very nature.
