How do you girls take care of your hair? (Those abroad and those who live in the homeland)

I dont really hear alot from Somali women outside my family talk about the products they use for their hair or what oils they like to use etc etc. I've been growing my 3a-3c hair for the past 3 years now and im currently at waist length. I use oils, trim and wear it in 1 loose braid inside my bonnet to protect it while I sleep. I detangle it with a tangle teezer and this brush (idk what it's called) but it's got like multiple rows

I'd love to hear Abt what others do and how it works for them

Sounds like you have a great regime sis!

I use protective styling a lot, keep it in braids, oil it etc. I need to do better with deep conditioning tbh.

What are your favourite products?

I do an oil treatment before I wash my hair. Then afterwards I brush It out and put some 'protein hair food' in and leave it in two braids until I next wash it.
However, my hair only properly grows to shoulder length, after that the ends start to look thin and straggely so I keep it short

Im experimenting alot rn but I really like some Shea moisture products (especially their curl creams) and that blue Moroccan oil shampoo
