The biggest thing reducing Somalis population size is higher infancy and mother mortality rates. It’s lack of health care and stability in the region in which most Somalis engaging in wars are being called by other Somalis than an Ethiopian.

Two things can be correct at the same time. All the things you mentioned is true and real but Ethiopia being our eternal enemy is not an excuse. They are a massive threat to all Somalis in the horn and just because old Somali men are fucking shit up back home doesn't make this any less true.
Somalia and Somalis need manpower, and having a lot of children secures that. The problem is that it's the wrong people who are producing these children. It should be rich men who can afford the financial demands polygamous marriages, not some dying oday who'll leave those kids orphaned and the miskiin woman burdened.

This is not incorrect, Somalis did fight each other and killed 100s of thousands at this point, and while that's a tragedy in itself, there are things that didn't happen as a result of those wars. We're still the same people, speaking the same language, and the same religion. If Ethiopia invaded and won, with a generation, our language would be scrapped, and before you know it you have all types of Ethiopian ethnic groups settling in between Somali tribes, with the eventual result being us becoming minorities in our own homelands. Just look at what has happened in dirdaba, moyaale and now jigjiga. Somali wars didn't result in mass rape like it would if Ethiopia ever went to war with Somalia won. A war between Somalis is not the same as a war between Ethiopia and Somalia. I suspect a lot of you are from the south and you lot underestimate how much of a threat Ethiopia is. I mean just them shutting down the two rivers in Somalia is enough to put millions of people at the risk of starvation and death. Don't confuse yourself.

However have you read about the futuh al habash or jubaland conquest Or the wars between ciise and afar some of the biggest battles and land conquests historically imo have been against Ajanabis it’s not factual to say Somalis only war each other
