I was with a buddy and his cousin who I dont get along with out of blue said

" you know I feel like Somalians gotta marry outside more often Otherwise theyre racist"

First of all its Somalis who even says Somalians?

We discussed about it but in the end he still felt this way so its whatever Im not suprised tbh the guy cant a single word Somali except Hooyo and Haa

Me personally I would only marry a Somali for various reasons like

- More compatible

- She can speak the language wont be awkward at family gatherings

- I can eat muus with my meal without it getting awkward

- I can live back home and she
Wont feel like an out cast

Nothing racist about that brother. There is also no 'self hatred' in wanting to only marry a non somali either. In both cases it is a matter of simple preference.
