I think it ends in partition (God forbid) and that’s not long, maybe 15 yrs for Puntland, much less for Somaliland about 4-5 yrs.

That will start conflict over disputed lands which increases whatever fragile authority is left.

It all depends on the next election.

If they fail to organise a fair one person per vote election then it's the start of the end of this 50 years adventure we called Somalia.

However if they pull it off then it would give the elected government full mandate of the South and a chance to increase its influence in the other states.
