Wallahi we need to unite
This would probably just help Somalis stop fighting each other and unite against a common enemy. No matter how near sighted these qabiil bashers are they can at the very least know what will happen if they fight each other while an enemy fights both of them.This would be against Ethiopia and Kenya's interest. Their best bet is to fuel more internal conflicts to further cripple Somalia, but they have to do it subtly. Which I'm 80% sure they're doing right now. Not to mention even if they do somehow beat the Somali military to successfully annex they must either appease all rebellions (won't happen) or kill every single last one. All of these would make it extremely difficult to annex Somalia.
Somalia only wins when it comes to navy but that's only because Ethiopia is landlocked. Even then they have 3 shitty corvettes and a few marines. It's honestly sad

There are. Every time I'm driving from Hargeisa to laascaanood we go through so many valleys and sketchy roads from mountain to mountain. All around Laascaanood there are hills that people climb for fun. This person doesn't know what he's talking about
Ethiopia got the ONLF to disarm not that long ago. Are both our neighbors willing to deal with separatist, terrorist attacks on their people, Al-shabab gaining support and their own Somali populations going against them? You don't even need to unite to understand why no one would do that.
It's genuinely not worth it, at best they could come in and hold it for a few years but at the end of the day it's gonna cost more than it's worth and who's going to justify that to their people?
Then there's the fact they might get hit with sanctions from the international community which is a bullet up the arse for a developing country.

All of the leaders from Somalia appease the Ethiopians because they know there is a gulf between us and them. We have Toyota trucks with machine guns and they have modern Tanks, there is no competition.
And yet we took galbeed by force before the cuban troops and russian backstabbers in 3 weeks at most.
Kenyans and ethiopians without ajnabi help are like saudis against houthis. New technology and weapons can't save cowards.
The international community wouldn't sit idle while it happens. There would be economic sanctions and perhaps military forces sent against them.
