How would Somalia look if al shabaab conquered the country?

Alshabaab has an ideology based on Jihad. If the country was given to them on a silver plate, they would not build institutions or bother rebuilding the country but instead, recruit more foreigners and use the country as a platform to invade other territories (Kenya and Ethiopia).

They wouldn't even be smart about it like most governments who only use 20% or less on a defense budget, these fuckers will mobilise every able bodied male and forcibly conscript them to fight never ending wars. In short, just more bloodshed.

Lets just say Al-shabaab won the civil war and conquered Somalia. The west signs a treaty with them stating that as long as they stop commiting terrorist attacks they will be recognized as the legitimate govt of Somalia. How do you think the country would look?

Somali would probably look better and better governed compared to the current incompetence ruling the nation currently.
