A fair comparison would be to compare THIRD generation Western-born Somalis to Africans-Americans (apples to apples, instead of apples to oranges).

As if they did it themselves and not because they live in the world's richest country (85% of America is not black). Nothing superior about them compared to Africans. In fact, most African IMMIGRANTS in the US outperform them socioecononomically.

*Yeah, I am aware of the socioeconomic issues with refugee groups like Somalis, South Sudanese, and the Congolese, but give them time and I predict even they will do better than AAs who have this weird counter-culture against mainstream society and promoting hoodratnimo.

Give it some time.. how can you expect people who came from a 5th world country to adjust to the West within one generation. You need at least three generation for non-Western refugees to become successful.

I agree. but hey. some will succeed and others fail. The Achilles heel for us right now is pseudo religion where everything one to succeed is haram. Because there is a limit to unity. Somalis have nothing in common with let's say the Khoisan, why unify with them? It's easier with your own, how can you even talk about unification without a similar culture and language?

I'm just saying that Somalia is in this weak state because of division, Mr. divided and conquered.

Do you believe that the United States would be better off if they split all the states to separate countries? No, they would be weakened, eat each other up, and be eaten by Russia, China and all the other countries out there. To incite internal division is beneficial for the enemy, and this is a fundamental military tactic.

You know that the different Somali clans belong to the same ethnic group. Why are you acting like different tribes means a distinct ethnic group? People of the same background unifying is Afrocentrism to you?

Now it’s unity in small doses one can argue that the example you stated is unified Somalia as that’s what happened when it stretched too far, so instead we need smaller unified doses like say unified puntland or something
