HSM has only one goal from now to the end of his term

To finalise all chapters of the constitution and pass it through parliament. The 2012 hogwash should be flushed down the toilet. Articles 5-9 are being seriously amended and should be brought to MP's by the end of the year.

HSM constitutional reform cannot be legalised by 300 ppl in Mogadishu, this will not effect PL and JL, as anything not passed by its regional parliament doesn't make it federal as that's the procedures of the law, it may effect Mogadishu and GM n HS temporarily since they have no constitution or law of the land. Even presidential signatures can't help him or bribes, as it actually says it has to be ratified by the regional states as a whole organ. It will just be thrown out as unconstitutional once he leaves.

Heck untill their is federal constitutional court, nothing can be done in reality it's one man interpretation vs the next man making each null n void.

He definitely has a chance to do it as long as he gets QQ who is deni ally out. Egypt and turkey will help with bringing the strength required for centralization, so not much to worry about there. OG seem to still be on board too as the vice president of JL said he’s will to talk to FGS.

of course don’t want him to succeed. It’s just that the he still has a shot, despite how low it is.

Don't worry to much about Turks n Egypt all under some NATO or aid hand out by America, PL has CIA backing as its oldest security partner going back to 2000s, I give the Americans one thing, they prefer old n trusted partners thru longevity, they don't like flip floppers as their thrown to the bottom of the pile as unreliable which hawiye does always. America can't ever change its foreign policy without consultation with the CIA.

Broski no somali leader can use force to implement his wishes, ever again. Somalis destroyed their country bc of one mans leadership, you think 30 yrs after it be allowed? It'll be back to the 90s or balkanization. We need to solve our issues by talking and compromising. No other option.

We need some amounts of copious strength to make sure the government remains functional. The union in the states wasn’t fully there until they had the civil war, same with Japan and China, those two are not federal but they had to subdue all signs of open rebellion like Somalia is currently in. Otherwise they’d have some that commit treason just to spite the FGS.

of course your envisioned future is superior to that though. Compromise for the purpose of consensus is the best means possible.

Reconciliation is very much needed though before anything
Don’t you think the time for that has passed? Hassan passed the constitution without consulting these men, they’re making a fuss of it over that so the only choice he has is to push on and make sure FGS is the strongest force in Somalia.

We all want the leaders to come to an agreement, but what it some are stubborn spoilers? Does Somalia need to wait for one moody individual to push on?

What you guys are saying though is agreeable. Deni wanted to debate and there was no response. Currently the constitution looks defunct based on how little time and discussion it took to complete, so unless PL agrees with it, my thoughts on the constitution remain distasteful.

Nope but HSM doesn't make things better. Reconciliation should be the first thing he does.
