I've been hunting a few times before. I prefer skeet shooting (game) to shooting actual game (animals). Where I am, people shoot skeet for fun, like, closer to the woods in their backyards at house parties and barbeques.

I don't think rifle hunting requires all that much skill with big game. I mean sort of, but not really. I'm more impressed with people who know how to hunt with bows > shotguns. My friend can take down a deer from quite a distance with a long bow. She's been shooting bows since we were 7, tho.

bow hunting is way more fucked up for the animal. shotgun or rifle, equals a quick death.

Depends on where you hit it. Besides, if it was the animal's well-being you were worried about, you wouldn't be shooting it for sport to begin with.

I know plenty of these people, hunters, I'd say maybe 20% of them actually eat the meat. It's mostly for sport; for the thrill, for the skill.

Oh, is that how you turn up?o_O

How are you Canadian and you don't know what skeet shooting is? You're more hunting-crazy than we are. Are you not wearing work boots right now? Do you not wrestle with bears? Is there not a giant moose-head hanging as art on the wall across you? Where the heck have you been lol.

Welcome back.

:O27GWRK:I swear, I didn't even think how that might sound to people who don't know. Lil Wayne, or Lil Jon or whomever-the-eff hijacked that word from the hunting community, aight.

Not this, guys.

This. Skeet shooting is a world renowned sport with it's own competitions, and even a Skeet section in the Shotgun World Cup.
