It just doesn't make sense.

if I am from SL i would want xamar to be in perpetual violence as long as possible so that international community finally recognize us.
Unstable xamar will benefit us in the long term. Peace ful xamar doesn't serve my interest as SL cuz it will contradict the 30 yrs old aspirations.

There is a reason why some SL elders are calling for alshabab to takeover mogadishu since HSM failed .do you what happens if AS takes over.it would be another 100 years of wars Ethiopia will definitely invade or arm clan rebel groups as they don't want to have a terror group as their close neighbors .The longer somalia esp xamar is in anarchy the higher chance recognition will come.


Now adays ,You will see lots of Sl youth sympathize with the terror group on social media.

This is the 2025 reality.

A few issues with the OP.

a) Simply going by his name, he is any, but a Lander​

• No Lander would be caught speaking af Xamari,

b) His use of the word Xamar is tantamount with locals of Xamar or die-hard Somali nationalists​

• He would have said Muqdisho as the average Lander would say 'Somalian' ,

c) The logic of his reasoning is flawed, for he considers Xamar synonymous with .So and vice versa, a narrative found in only a small minority, and he most likely belongs to the said group​

• The average Lander could not care less

d) Typical Landers (I am not talking about Somalis from SL) do not consider .Et an enemy​

• If anything, Landers consider .Et closer to them than .So,

e) A true Lander does not view independence mere aspiration​

• Instead they consider recognition and independence a human right,

f) No SL elder called or calls for al Shabab to take over Xamar​

• Waraabe is not an elder, but a half-pint imbecile,
