Because Kenya consists of several different ethnicities. The Kikuyu, Luo or Masai are as alien to each other as Somalis are alien to them. Instead of trying to be different and special Somalis should participate in their politics and do everything to have a place at the table and eat. Cornering and isolating yourself doesn't work in this mean world.

The same goes for Somalis in Ethiopia.

Would agree if it wasn't for the Kikuyu and Tigray having a monopoly of the power in those countries.

Same reason you wouldn't either if your subclan wasn't in charge of your region.

Somali Kenyans don't have a real voice in that country and won't ever amount to anything without the permission of their Kikuyu overlords.
