Punctuation and synonyms are the make or breakers for English so resit the exam after reading an Oxford guide on punctuation and going through a thesaurus to make sure that you're using appropriate synonyms for words you repeat too often or misuse. You will need English at level 3 to get into university or get a decent job I'm afraid. Having said that, English the easiest subject to revise for and improve in a resit.
