I support the awakening of the people such as Dhulbahante Ugaadhyahan and segments of beesha dhexe especially Habar Yoonis East. I would hope that Awdal also come out and express their voice that they do not want a separate country but are pro Union.
Good People have been oppressed for too long.
Many of this people do not share the thought of the secessionists of being oppressed and murdered by the last regime because they were members of a clan but tragic circumstances of a dictatorship clinging on to power.
Segments of Somaliland unilaterally declared themselves independent and hijacked many people.
The truth is sipping through bit by bit that many are not content or being not heard.
For this reasons I have never bought in the seccession argument of Somaliland.
I believe the people have the right to choose and I am myself naturally someone who leans towards Independence but that is a personal opinion I will not force people.
The case of majority rules over minority is also vague and intellectually assaulting as people have never been given a say or alternative where Somalia could make its case.
Also SSC regions are disputed areas. A nation can negotiate and referendum should be held for these parts if they want to join the secessionists are stay in the union as there was never a βSomalilandβ.
Somaliland got its independence on the understanding that it will unite with the other occupied part of Italiab Somaliland.
That is why their dates of independence were coordinated in order for them to merge.
After that Somalia formed and as such there is no case for colonial borders as they have been nullified.
