f*ck it.
After conducting endless research and many analysis, i've connected my ancestral roots to the MING dynasty of China.
The Ajuran Sultanate (Somali: Saldanadda Ajuuraan, Arabic: سلطنة أجوران), also spelled Ajuuraan Sultanate,[1]and often simply as Ajuran,[2] was a SomaliMuslimempire[3][4][5] that ruled over large parts of the Horn of Africain the Middle Ages. Through a strong centralized administration and an aggressive military stance towards invaders, the Ajuran Sultanate successfully resisted an Oromoinvasion from the west and a Portugueseincursion from the east during the Gaal Madow and the Ajuran-Portuguese wars. Trading routes dating from the ancient and early medieval periods of Somali maritime enterprise were strengthened or re-established, and foreign trade and commerce in the coastal provinces flourished with ships sailing to and coming from many kingdoms and empires in East Asia, South Asia, Europe, the Near East, North Africa and East Africa.[6]
My greater forefathers arrived into Somalia in terms of trade under the Ajuuraan empire.
Yes, I am ethnically Somali, but my greater cause is for the Ming dynasty and its contribution.
I can trace my genetics to China, my ancestors arrived on ships and mated with the local Somalis.
