Basically, the Arabs in Sinai catch them as they're passing through, inflict physical torture and hold them hostage for ransom money. There's translation voiceovers of her taped calls with them. It's really shocking, but not.

That's the same woman. I remember her name being Meron something. Humans are unsavoury, but you will find good, bad, strong, weak in every society. However, in my experience, no group of people are as disproportionately evil and callous as Arabs. I'm not talking about the ones in the west. Those have to live and abide by the rules and laws. I'm talking about the savages in their own habitat.

Haven't seen the doc but i remember reading about Bedouins in Sahara kidnapping and torturing tahribis yrs ago, i think this was just after the Libyan conflict so there was a lot of instability and lawlessness in that region

They took advantage of the chaos and started making money off of migrants and they would throw them in pits, then force them to call their mothers, and pay up. I believe the man who does this is called a magafe.

Many Somalis have gotten that terrifying call but none of them heed the warnings when we tell them not to go they think we are xaasid and we are holding them back from jannah even though they say they hate the gaalo.
