Lol no the reason why there was less bombs was because alshabab was using less bombs since they got pushed out of most territory they have changed the tactics to more bombing

That can't happen. Almost 1.5 million people live in Mogadishu. All the non Darood southern clans are present there, there is no cohesion among them. Besides, the D&M have always lived there, it never was a single clan city. Even if Mogadishu was Hawiye only, it would still have many terror attacks because their is no cohesion even among the Hawiye of Mogadishu.

Its nearly impossible, Mogadishu has a staggering population with many districts. The idea of vetting and keeping track of every citizen there is almost laughable. Coming up with a solution to this mess and implementing it will require great perseverance and luck.

Warlords running Mogadishu won't change anything, look no further than Abdulaahi Yusuf....

Exactly. They control less territory now and resort to guerrilla warfare. The most secure western countries fall victim to these suicide bombs so imagine Mogadishu. Very sad.

2017 is worst than 2016 because the 2017 bar is from March.

Definitely better under the SFG. How is that even a question? Things only started to return to normalcy in the mid to late 2000s.

But the guys donate a lot of the money to the poor like in the droughts and they even contributed a lot to the zoobe bombing, the fire trucks that were there was theirs. They donate through hormuud foundation.
