Governors are the real politicians. They know the politics on the state level and interact with political, economic and social issues everyday. Tim Waltz is more qualified than Trump, Biden and Kamala.

Yh the job security is a hell of a lot better too rarely are governors ousted without being in a swing state or there is an election sweep that year but in deep blue or red states if you have the partys nomination you've all but won and it's a fun walk to the governors mansion.

A governor is basically a mini president within a state and they get all the perks and non of the cons.

Free security - State Troopers
Free food - Receptions, Galas, Buffets and State Dinners

Amazing salary - did you know the lady in charge of new york governors Kathy hocul is making 2× what her friends in congress make? + the fact that there is a far less scrutiny and stressful situations.

Free rides - armoured limousine and two armoured suv and state trooper motorcycle officers
