if you are not physically strong but know karate can you win the fight?

I and my friend had this discussion if you weren't physically strong but had a black belt could you win a fight against a bodybuilder?

I said yes but this dumbass insisted that bodybuilders were the strongest but then I said to him that Floyd Mayweather could beat up the strongest bodybuilder in a fight then he shut the f*ck up that little rat.

It depends a person who knows martial arts can f*ck up a bodybuilder who doesn't know how to fight. However it depends on the type of martial arts you know. Idk about karate but kickboxing, BJJ and kickboxing seem good. Also you have to take into account bodybuilders gas out quickly so if they don't knock you early on you're chances are pretty good

No you cant. Look at a fight been thai boxing and kickboxing, thai wins because they practice kicking tree trunks. Everything the kickboxer is doing doesnt hurt the thaiboxer because they have strong body. Same with MMA vs other martial arts. Bulky body matters, you can take more beating.

Correct my ignorance but isn't Karate one of those basically worthless in a real fight martial arts? But I have seen examples of martial artists (i.e. BJJ) whooping someone way stronger and bigger than them with little to no fighting training:
