Revolution sounds the most stable out of all the others that and you will most likely grasp the hearts of the younger generation which is the only one that matters

military coup: if you control the army in particular, by paying their generals and commanders bribes or paying the soldiers good salary on time theyll support you
the military is one of the major keys to power and youll just be able to install your own government or rule as a monarch if you wanted to. drawbacks: there may be some loyalists that may cause factions to emerge in the military causing some infrastructure damage and possible national security threats.
its better than the other options because revolutions usually cause lots of expensive damage to infrastructure. also once the general mass realises they can revolt and remove you, you have to be a bit of a socialist and appease them( 2nd best options)
supporting a foerign power means you would be a ruler in that country as long as you appease the power who put you there. unless they decide they have different motives and decide to oust you. so you may just be a puppet(3rd best option)
the last option is the worst due to division of power. there would be new border disputes, division of resources and may split the country.
