That’s a big hurdle to jump, with many legal battles, and that route would be costly, so I don’t think Trump would try that. But he's definitely going to target undocumented immigrants. First, those with criminal records, then all others without a criminal record.

At best, undocumented criminals under police custody will face deportation. Large scale deportation even targetting those who have obtained legal status is both logistically and legally infeasible.

Immigration courts are already severely backlogged by millions. Unless there’s a massive overhaul done, this is all empty rhetoric.
