I think you're mixing crony capitalism (the one you're talking about, also known as the global plutocracy) and classical capitalism (using one's capital to invest in the development of industry).Capitalism is the beast with the bottomless stomach. It has eaten culture, language, time honored virtue. Bereft of these grounding principles, the prole remains rudderless. It has even made a meal of God himself; his houses have all been foreclosed. With the advance of weapons technology, it sates itself by exporting perpetual violence to the unindustrialized third world. Oh make no mistake, war in the Middle East and Africa will never end. It cannot for where else will weapons be used? Maybe new battlespaces can be opened up on the rural peripheries of the developed world. We'll find a use for Trump country yet. Dead children will pile up to God's lofty throne. But don't be too sad. Capitalism's true function, its holy end-goal is to eat up all sustenance until we humans can no longer live on this planet. It is the sacred deliverer from existence, from life and all false feeling. It is the most perfect and devious tool that my master has ever perpetrated upon Mankind. There is nothing now that can stop it. And the best part? It has more people willing to die for it than it can possibly find use for. People who would never break so much as a light sweat fi sabililah. What a dream! Bow down before He of Infinite Growth.

I loved the speech though. That's some MLK shit right there fam.
The true problem is cronyism that's corrupting the global financial world. With lobbying being rampant across the developed world, different members of corporate organizations can connect their collective ideals of labor costs/wages.Capitalism is the best but it’s not faultless. The continued pursuit of profit means that capitalists will lower labor costs as much as they can, people will lose jobs and without state intervention and acquiring new skills people might stay unemployed.
The Problem with communism is that the state doesn’t know what people want, the market is better st aligning supply and demand. Profit drives innovation and inequality is a natural consequence of skilled people being successful.
So I think social democracy is best, mixing market friendly principles with socialism.
What would you prefer then? What is your ideal economic system, and how can it be incorporated in a realistic and tangible way?You indulge in another false dichotomy. This is a theatrical dialectic, kabuki theatre for the slave. Capitalism is not "good" in any of its forms. I wouldn't have it any other way

Your previous comments strongly imply a strong disdain for the current system of the material world. I'm sure you'd understand if I say that I don't buy your overall apathy and, to be frank, consider it to be a grand deception.I care nothing for the material conditions of Mankind. My system is systemic breakdown

In a world where subsidies don't exist for larger corporations, competitors who are willing to provide higher wages to laborers will end up with the skilled manpower needed to operate a company, eating out the greedy competition.
We are reaching the final stage of this process, which is automation. With it, the new debate will be on universal public income, as many will not have jobs, or at least will have it replaced by a machine.
The root cause of this is the fact that every state has 3 economies:
1. The real economy, where goods and services are produced and sold in a global (macroeconomic) and domestic (microeconomic) scale.
2. The financial economy, where financial records and investments are organized to process the overall accounts of the transactions made in the real economy.
3. The political economy, which is generally ignored, who oversee the laws that allow companies/corporations to make the moves and decisions they desire.
A strong real economy, with a financial economy kept in check, with a small government is ideal.
Unfortunately we have the opposite. A relatively weak real economy, a financial economy that does whatever they want, and a political economy that holds far too much power over the real economy.
This is coming from a guy who took economics in uni, and continues to keep up and learn the overall economic climate of this world.
This is why education on a practical and skilled level is of the upmost importance. The more you know about something most don't, the more valuable you are. That's my mindset in my career at the moment. The digital economy might be depressing the wages because they’ve cut costs without being more productive, that’s one thing . An aging population means less spending and less growth.
But Automation and offshoring of jobs to Asia are the biggest reasons, and there’s nothing to do but get people educated into new skills and industries.
Of course redistribution is important.
True, but meritocracies only last for one generation. The one's who win in that generation based on their merit, end up with the tools needed to give their offspring an advantage in the next generation, effectively killing the meritocracy in question.Anti capitalism has a racial tone because people think it belongs to whites. It’s actually the absence of socialism.
In a meritocracy it’s just an accuser that whites are more successful, it’s not a planned thing, if you’ve got something to sell you will sell it.
Yes but that’s not wrong, it’s always been like that, I want to give my kid advantage.True, but meritocracies only last for one generation. Very true man. I concur.Yes but that’s not wrong, it’s always been like that, I want to give my kid advantage.
Making things fair is also costly and difficult, you would violate people’s rights just to make things fair. And what if somebody is stupid , should everyone be lowered to that standard?
It’s a difficult thing but achieving equality is not always something people want.
You now it’s also a racial question, are people unequal by nature? Will some people always be on top?
I don’t think capitalism is always the problem
Very true man. I concur.
