International Somali Awards, a hoax?

They gave Maryan Mursal an award or nomination but just now they retweeted and favourited a two part tweet saying it's haram to award her. It wasn't accidental because they retweeted and favourited both tweets. Either the Twitter account is run by a psychopath or there's some beef between the organisers and the Islamic motivational speaker that these snide tweets are aimed at.

Poor Maryan Mursal who is being attacked by ISA after they invited her and used her legend status to further themselves. Sorry auntie. I'll never gas these sick people ever again.

I personally think this was thought up overnight and paid for by Dahabshiil.

No. I'm sick of extremist behaviour. Maryan Mursal was accused of filming a sex tape back in Somalia by people who hated her for being a successful singer who isn't from a major clan so I'm I'm always sensitive to how people treat her.

I think the entire evening had one objective and that was to childishly shut down the competitor to Dahabshiil who was also nominated and to detract from the terror funding allegations.
