Internet Out in South Somalia

Currently there is an internet blackout in southern somalia.

Any theories as to why ?

And do you think it's a co-ordinated move to suppress information whilst something is going on.

I allways thought those cables are on the ocean floor. How can they be destroyed by a ship?

Most of Mogadishus internet comes from Somaliland, the service price has gone up and they weren't willing to pay so SL has disconnected their whole service
