I found this show when I was watching Quantico. Speaking of Quantico I watched the first 15 mins of
it and started of good. The Indian lead actress had an western accent but I fell asleep in the middle.
When I woke up I thought I was watching some Indian film, her desi accent came out, it put me off :umwhat:

Anyways I watched the first episode of Badlands, so far very good. Check it out :obamaswag:

There's a strong likelihood the show will not be renewed for a second season. There were rumours it might however those were quickly rebuffed. The acting is sub-par in my opinion. Sunny is among the few who play their part well along with the Baron's wife.

Boy-girl fall in love romance is extremely cheesy. I hope Tilda is killed off as a sacrifice for a better second season. She's hot so it should be a sweet death, she doesn't deserve cruelty. Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones elevated plot twists and because this show is on AMC I expected more but they have sadly failed us. :frdfvsb:

At this point I am wondering how big the badlands are, the lands surrounding them, why specifically heroin and the other commodities, how do they get food? I wish there was world building like GOT.

I hoped this thread would die out for obvious reasons. How could it go from great in the two first episodes to some
shitty show? Spot on the acting, just bad. And those kids just killing it with their bad acting :ohlord:

In other news, FARGO? Best show out. I just started to watch season 2. My credibility when out the window now, thank you into the bad lands :browtf:

GoT had a text with thousands of pages of worldbuilding to go off of. And even then GoT is not perfect in its worldbuilding. It's a little unrealistic to expect that level of complexity. Best worldbuilding I've seen on a television series is Avatar: TLAB.

Acting, storyline and world building, one should substitute for the others in case they turn out bad but this show is failing that. 2 episodes left I believe. I have yet to see Avatar but it's on my list.
