It’s a combination of the CIA and the JSOC. It under Irans IRG Islamic revolutionary guard corps who are autonomous from the regular Iran army they have there own navy, land force, special forces, Air Force, intelligence, the IRGC has two land forces basij in charge of internal affairs and the quds force in charge of overseas activities/proxies.

I have no soft hearth for Iran, however I have to give it to them, they have definitely mastered the art of instrumentalizing shia arab peasants as cannon fodder for it's political interest of aspiration for regional hegemoni.
