If it’s according to the sunnah why not? My self esteem has always been high alhamdulillah I never had huge insecurities other than a brief period of acne in middle school lol. Making assumptions about me (low self esteem) based off of my opinion hints to closed mindedness. You mentioned if he is rich. How rich are we talking here? Is he saudi oil money rich? If he can afford hiring a nanny, private chef and a chauffeur, that is a lifestyle. Also you don't have to play wifey every other day. A smart move, maybe?

But if he a working class man, polygamy is not ideal in this day and age. He probably works full time, so most of the chores become your responsibility.
Some days though, you'll want your husband to step in and help around the house, be there for the kids. Too bad, it is sister wife's turn, he is getting pampered and having the time of his life while you'll be exhausted and resentful.
