I had Somali adeers come up to me and tell me to cut my afro many times when I was younger. It got so annoying I did research on Muslim Men with long hair and realized our old timers are hypocrites. They all had long hair before the civil war and rocked afros. The prophet had long hair and even braided it sometimes.

Yes! It’s feminine and ghetto with capital G. And stop saying our Prophet had braids. Never heard that anywhere. Plus with braids you automatically get judged...the police would prolly treat you a like thug. Employers might be hesitant to hire you and any self respecting girl wouldn’t look at you twice.
