Is it me or does the world feel like it's heading for a global catastrophic war?

Rising tensions with Iran and the Arabs...
Isis taking control of oil fields of Libya, no doubt they'll invade Egypt under the pretext of a holy "Ghazwa"... The Dow Jones opened this year with it's worse opening in 84 years... Saudi's tensions with Iran had an impact on fluctuating low oil prices... North Korea tests a H-bomb....

If your someone who's into the news the threat of nukes going off seems high af..

Brb going to Sanaag

Globar war? Nah. I don't think we will have a war akin to the second world war ever again. Middle Eastern war? I've no idea. Recession? Hell yes.

The rivalry between Iran and Saudi Arabia is quit interesting. However, It won't lead to a war. They are probably just going to stick it to cutting diplomatic and perhaps economic ties with each other for couple of years. The further plummeting of the oil price due to supply and demand has it's benefits for consumers and for companies who use oil for the production of their products. However, the oil-producers and petrostates, on the other hand, will be hit quite hard which will most likely lead to political turbulence.

UN with the backing of many other countries will eventually force Saudi Arabia to implement universal human rights where they allow it's citizens the right to protest and speak about the plight of minorities (shia's and immigrants alike) without further consequences. Or perhaps it's wishful thinking on my part. :chrisfreshhah:

The Dow Jones was down with 200 points because China doesn't know what they are doing. Chinese is using circuit breakers with the aim to ease volatility in the stock markets but it had the adverse effects, causing investors to sell their stocks out of fear. They also set their currency even lower to boost export growth. However, currency depreciation can hurt asset values and cause money out-flow because investors don't want to see their money shrinking even further.

North Korea was probably testing a H-Bomb to show off and also scare off countries that might have ideas of invading and overthrowing the current regime. They definitely won't use a H-Bomb, once they've mastered it, against their supposed enemies without a valid reason, they are obviously not that stupid. Or are they? :cosbyhmm:
