It's a bad thing yes, funding is crucial at this stage. The only thing the government should watch out for is the people funding them do not have colliding interests when it comes to Somalia.

We already saw how that worked out for us in the past. Saudi/UAE vs Qatar beef jump started a political crisis Somalia still hasn't recovered from. This is the price you pay for having too many cooks in the kitchen.
Having other governments support you is not a badge of honor.
We are recovering from bankruptcy and are working on getting our debts written off. That will remove the shackles and we can then apply for international credit.
Let me highlight that which Harun Maruf failed to mention.
Until a year ago we had only Turkey as a real financial backer with hundreds of millions dollars poured into Somalia by Erdogan and his regime.
Norway I have no idea as to their final goal but I just dont trust viking burcad.
UAE was a 'backer' if you want to call it backing but their prime reason for entering our country is out of jealousy 4 Turkey and animosity for a succesful Somalia.
USA is hit & miss so we cant rely on them & frankly aslong as we work together militarily, they can keep their money.
Getting direct budgetary EU backing is enormous & we should see & uptake in EU|Somalia colaboration.
The gulf crisis brought a massive victory for us. Arabs that included Qatar only ever gave lip service in their support of Somalia, but that all ended. We may have lost Saudi & UAE 'support' but we gained 1 we can actually make demands of and infact judging by how the Qatari populace received our Neutrality we may have gained a friendly ally who just happens to have deep pockets.
