They actually farm in afmadoow. I know, on the western part of the city has the best soil for farming, before you reach jiira and qooqani. They farm maize, sorghum, beans, pumpkins, and fruits and vegetables. The only thing missing from it is irrigation system. last time I checked, they were still relying on rain to farm.
