So I was at the grocery store earlier, running errands and buying grocery. I'm hosting a dinner party on Tuesday inshallah, with couple of my girlfriends. I'm going to make dinner, dessert, snacks. The whole 9 yards. So since it's Sunday today, I figured I would get some of the shopping done early. I was looking for sparkling apple, sparkling apple-pomegrant. It is located in the wine, alcohol, sparkling water section. Anyways I got my sparkling apples (which are halal) and loaded my cart. I saw an old Somali guy, who at first glance I thought he was Ethiopian. He walked past me and went straight to the beer section, loaded his cart and smiled at me.
