Yesterday KenGen released excess water from Masinga dam on the Upper Tana purposefully flooding Sankuri

They do this every year to the farmers. Last year the farmers lost almost $30 million to these controlled floods. Aden Barre then came with $100K in food aid as compensation and claimed that there was no problem. They did it again this year and the loses are probably even higher. Simply unbelievable, this is the third year in a row they have done this. No wonder no one wanted to farm in Garissa in the past.
