The majority Muslim region of the Coastal Province of Kenya said they'll be starting legal proceedings to secede from the rest of Kenya.

Led by Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi and his Mombasa counterpart Hassan Joho, the leaders said they have already consulted with both local and international lawyers in an attempt to legally separate from the rest of Kenya
