Why would the UAE do that lol? Especially for a guy they bought in the first place and they know will be gone in just 1.5 years? It's all just desperation. He has zero to offer UAE that he wasn't already doing anyway.
UAE would rather have Hassan than someone who’s obtuse and sees them as an enemy get elected like kheyre farmaajo, fahad, or possibly sharif. So it’d be in their interest to keep him. They were the biggest funders during hassan’s election run and that’s for good reason. He does everything they say down to a T. So do deni and madobe, but whoever is deciding Somalia’s future from the capital is their biggest concern.
UAE is sending black rock mercenaries soon to help Hassan quell opposition, if they’re already that committed to him, why wouldn’t they help his demands which also serve their interests.

Nah, UAE and HSM are not on the best of terms. He met with the Qatari's and is now getting closer with Turkey both of which are UAE's competition. They aren't happy about that. There was also the assassination of those UAE military officers in Xamar. I also believe they probably gave Madobe a ton of money hence why he left the NCC. He was in Dubai before going to Xamar. UAE isn't going to help Qoslaye. He hasn't been willing to do everything they asked of him such as sacking Hamza.
