Very dishonest framing in this thread. These soldiers are peacekeepers operating under the command of the African Union. AMISOM often liaises with UN agencies to conduct humanitarian and relief missions all across Somalia. The source that I linked shows a Somali man receiving treatment from an AMISOM clinic in Baidoa. There's a very clear difference between the KDF's hostile actions and Kenyan peacekeepers delivering food trucks to vulnerable people.
Imagine getting water and food from bantu kenyans in gedo, which has 2 rivers shameful a there are in our country...

It's not hard to imagine. This is what a country which lacked a central government for decades looks like. I only hope Farmaajo wins his next term and continues his programme of capacity-building.

Only KDF in Gedo is AMISOM not like Ethiopia where you have non Amisom.

Gedo is the most fertile region in somalia, has 2 rivers Juba etc. Not sure why they are getting aid when plenty of food and water

Then whybdo you have abaar year in year out?

Seems like your folks have abaar mentality.
Charity begins at home you cant even build Gedo yet want to rule Somalia.

This has been explained many times. Not all of Gedo is on the river, Garbaharey, Ceelwaaq are the areas affected as they are camel herders. People like to hear their camels, lifestock far away from rivers due to mosquito bites for the livestock, livestock drinking straight from the river with no sanitization tanks etc. However when the rains cease in those areas not on the river they get stuck far away from the river with no access to water. Don’t forget livestock themselves require a lot of water so when the rains stop, Wells dry up it becomes a disaster for herders.

Yes, they need to settle close to the river, give up herding, and farm. You’re not in Mudug anymore.

Why are you dependant on amisom? Arent you embarrassed?

In order to make changes, we have to accept reality brother and live in the now rather than wishful thinking of what could've should've been, from there, we can identify the issues and make the necessary changes in the process. Alx now the people have water, that is the number one priority, then everything else comes next :)
