SCAA is denying this, turns out it remains true. We went from blocking unauthorized countries aircraft to blocking interstate travel. Safe to say that this whole centralism thing is close to failing if it hasn’t already, we might get our Class A airspace removed if we continue this. Which would set us back 30 years. We would lose sovereignty over our air if that occurs, we already don’t have sovereignty over land.

FGS can deny anyone they want to fly. No one has a right fly, they should but they don't. They can also block any flight they want but if they do it too much companies might cancel their business (or just certain routes) because it's unprofitable or unsafe.

this is inacurate just like the atmis thing. Not going back and forth. Class A is the highest classification of airspace authority, I ask that you not confuse Hassan’s governance with the true capabilities of the FGS.

They aren't connected at all. The government can bar people from flying, any government can do that because they can issue directive to airport authorities (at airports they control obviously). Even an airline can do it and maintain their own no-fly lists.

Has nothing to do with class A airspace requirements which are mostly equipment and certifcations and process:

I'm not approving on HSM's choices which are not ideal but they will have no consequences on the Airspace.

Press the Bloomberg one, argue with the trusted source.

That link doesn't relate to anything under discussion.

Many countries with repressive governments ban people from flyings its' pretty standard practice. They don't lose their airspace rating for that. You expecting to get bailed out by the international community when you make your own stupid repressive governments everytime is not realistic. You guys have to get better at making governments and power sharing or just accept what's going on.

Somalia wasn’t able to do that before we owned our airspace, there was two US firms attempting to take ownership of our skies before we took it.

Somalia always controlled the airspace lol, either Somalia or the UN (under ICAO) when there was no government. You think it can be sold to a company because the government stopped someone from flying? Somalis are responsbile for their own government and if you guys accept repression then repression is what you get.

we were offered contracts by US companies which were disadvantageous, thankfully Somalia picked a deal from 1995

nobody accepts repression, Somalis are unable to vote, but you don’t see Somalis kicking the bucket. It’s the people’s priority to make changes.
