There are just as many Isaaq who despise daaroods with a passion. Where I live, they separate themselves from the rest of us and do not even allow their kids to mingle with ours, let alone marriage.

I remember back in 2011 when Isaaq attacked Dhulbahante at Kalshaale, there were a lot of Isaaq saying that the government and tribal militia of Somaliland were in the right. This was a case in which some 200 people died. There are very good reasons why the hatred exists, it is not irrational nor does it come from nowhere.

Really, what about the countless times Dhulbahante malitia attacked hj villages and the Somaliland government disarmed hj? Wasn't khaatumo president calling for attacking isaaq civilians few months ago.

They were pushed back and eventually we negotiated and reached a peaceful solution, which is good for all parties. Otherwise we would have been warring like the Hawiye down south for close to 30 years...

But you can't escape the fact that it is Isaaq who are constantly pushing into Harti territory in order to "secure the borders" of SL. These skirmishes take place on Harti soil, not in waqooyi galbeed.

You act like every Darood in the world is grinning from ear to ear at this.
