Treat the wounded area, dont generalize. Out of 1000 men in puntland you might find 1 who eats that stuff, and its more of a recreational activity one or twice a week. During my stay at garowe i have seen not even a single stand of jaad.

Yep also the productivity level is different for the khat eaters in the different regions. When I went to Mogadishu in 2018 some of the rickshaw drivers were chewing but at least they were working, Hargeisa is the opposite you will see hundreds in the streets just chewing doing nothing.
