To be fair he was about to get impeached himself from a boatload of unfounded accusations. Someone had to go and it wasn’t going to be cheese, so he threw kheyre under the bus. Without kheyre’s presence it squandered his election agreement, so if it was up to him and him alone and not the parliament, kheyre would probably stay to keep the agreement intact.

Farmaajo is preferable for myself, but I don’t ever want to see what happened those days again. He pushed the peace loving people too far. Although it was for the purpose of advancing each one of his agreements that were signed, Hassan will probably do the same

No one in Somalia gets impeached. There is only jungle justice. Kheyre was put between a rock and a hard place - support elections on time or risk fighting his own clan to accept an extension + 1m1v. It's really that simple. Had he supported the latter he would have badbaado qaran, SL/PL/JL and AS all on his ass. A timely election win for Farmaajo could have kept his momentum going to tackle those standing in the way but he played his cards too early. HSM wanted the same thing as Farmaajo in 2016 but the MPs/IC forced him into holding elections which he tried to sheg last minute but he also fell.
