:ohhh:

Please explain more, I'm interested.

:mybusiness:

Think of it this way. Sophia the humanoid was made a citizen of Saudi. It's a matter of time before the internet of things is in full swing. You'll have to pay to flush your toilet and open your fridge. On the plus side we'll have enough health data on you to know if you're sticking to a diet and you're vitals. An ambulance will show in case of irregularities. Essentially, your caregiver will be a machine. Not those droid like tin cans but made of softer substances similar in form and function the human biological system (capable of more than regeneration but transmutation/self-modification). Machines will certainly eliminate their useless makers.

mmm....I agree with you alot there.

IoT is definitely going to increase a lot, I can see ambulances coming to your house and an AI controlling the 911 system. That regeneration part is really interesting, because that can unlock the secret to extending life or reversing age.

Things will be really different in 10 or 20 years, but I don't think a machine can or will ever replace humans.

Remember that a machine can only do what it was programmed to do. Even Sophia, has pre-written responses and says it in a way where it feels natural. Nothing is actually generated by the robot itself.

People think with AI, we're going to have these self-conscious machines that make decsions outside of their programming and it's just funny. It's nice to think about though.

Programmed for now. Self-programming; only time will tell. If you thought big brother was scary; they will be privy to everything you do. It will be voyeurism on steroids (worse than now).:wtf: Let me drop a recent article I came across.

It's an interesting read about next gen bots.

Ohh, I can see where you got the regeneration thing from.

"the use of a liquid insulating layer enables HASEL actuators to self-heal from electrical damage."

It's not the regeneration I was thinking of, but it's still really cool.

Maybe all the spying will make everyone get off their phones, and force people to talk face to face more?

I took it a step further. I love hyperboles. I also live in the realm of possibilities. Leave no stone unturned. Who doesn't like a good dystopian movie/book?

I see you abaayo.

:sass1:

I use to always think about a dystopia where an economic collapse would come with the fall of fiat currencies. We would have to grow and cook our food off the grid, stock up on gold, guns, and ways to make money without the fiat system.

I actually bought seeds and a little silver. I never grew anything though.

:pachah1:

And the silver is too small to make any real difference if it REALLY happened. Now I don't care if it even comes

I feel like this was purposely done to demonstrate how unprepared Hawaii (and the rest of the country) is for a real missile strike.

Serious question why does Pyongyang look more developed than Mogadishu despite them being so poor? They also have nukes this just shows IQ is a real thing
