:friendhug: sawmaaha sxb. im so emotional walaahi.

if only the wider somalia djbooty included could emulate and learn from us instead of trying to sabotage us. :mjsuitcry:

The world was praising the Aug 8 Kenyan election that was riddled with irregularities and had one election chief assassinated days before the vote. I believe SL was free of that kind of shenanigans and you guys took it up a notch by making history with the biometric stuff.

The next steps for SL is to change the FPTP system to a ranked ballot one. I believe you're in SL, enjoy election night :samwelcome:

i believe ranking voting is suitable for parliamentary elections. the winner takes it all is attractive for presidentials election. the past election kulmiye won almost half of the votes so its not that different than the fptp which overall point is that the majority winner has to garner at least 50 pct.

yes im so hyped, its my second voting chance. hopefully it ends peacefully

Inshallah it will. Alternatives for FPTP is gaining steam in the western world particularly in Canada. You know more than me about the situation on the ground in SL because you're a voter and would know better what direction the electoral process should undergo due to your stake in SL's future.

I was looking through the lens as a Canadian but imho moving away from FPTP system can reduce voter apathy/disillusionment for the third party voters like UCID/ or whoever the smaller clans back. I know it's best to have incremental change instead of a fast one but seeing how the political system works here in Canada whoever becomes the opposition will always calcaal until they get into power. Also voters for third parties tend to stay home and become disconnected. It could be for the best to make a committee to see what changes you guys should do to your electoral process for future elections to avoid scenarios typically seen in the western world where the media celebrates a turnout of 60%.

great insight sxb. giving multiple choices to voters and third party voters a decisive voice in electing a candidate is very interesting. i can see awdal and eastern regions might welcome this initiative.

i will share this insight with INSPIRE GROUP and a think tank in sland who might have influence to get the stakeholders to discuss and debate policies such electoral insha allah. thanks sxb

I predict that muuse bixi will win and he will slay millions of Isaac from the wadani party.

There will be a tribal war in isaacland the likes of which mankind hasn’t experienced that will make the Hutu and Tutsi war look like child’s play.
