That's disgraceful. I will also say that it is embarrassing that they did that. But you know that you as a HY guy can come and buy a house and do business in north Hargeisa and it won't raise question marks. Not all neighbourhoods have the same attitude. The funny thing is in real life my best friend is HY Gadhweyn. We see each other as cousins, and we are. When we go back home then people start with all this nonsense.

I was told telesom is one of the few firms which hires people fairly solely based on ability and their level of education

It's not possible to do anything about that. A brother will hire his brother, a cousin his cousins. We need to make a system where the pie is divided up transparently, and all these issues are addressed above the table. Anti-qabil politics are always about the elevation of a single gabil and the enslavement of the rest.

I agree completely, but what I know is that Isaaq's enemies don't really care about our internal beefs. We need to advocate for unity at least across Isaaq, if nothing else, not out of supremacy or any idiotic ideas like that, but because we have a responsibility to each other as family. That's why I am happy if Wadani win and we have a change of power, because it beautifies the country even more.
