i guess fgm is the only thing these liberal arts/ gender studies women try to hype up. They have been finessing NGO's and the UN with workshops. Crazy stats have been put forward to cadaans maintaining that it is one of our largest problems. Of course its a horrible and barbaric act but in general there arent that many people who still do this since it is a nomadic tradition and most people now are living in towns.

I would like for people to focus on more important issues such as food security and agriculture. For example, helping women start their own farming community or setting up markets where they can sell their goods.
