I asked some habeshis to translate it and this is what they came up with :

At first they mistook it as Ge'ez because of the presence of Arabic numerals, but then identified it as Amharic, Arabic numerals were adopted during the reign of yohaness so this could mean it is very recent, what do you think ? πŸ€”

These medieval coins have been found in arabsiyo :

Someone identified 2 as Mogadishan currency, and the 2 other as mamluk coins, nothing confirmed yet.
There is also a video of another sort of coin found in Xafun;

A local sent these picture of a site where they found the remains of a sabean temple, this is notably where they found sabean inscriptions, the author was sent these pictures, and if I remember correctly, the site was previously visited by an explorer who saw it in better condition and mapped it:

Sabean temples? Makes sense, before any monotheistic religions rose in the region most civilizations on the Red Sea practiced these pagan traditions.

Hmmm don't know what say really but i think we'd have to first confirm if it's genuine or not, it's date and then examine it's content. Do you know where was it found?

Looking at the text here is what i could spot.

ገረመ, α‹΅αˆαŠ•, ሐጎሰ, ፳, α‹ˆαˆ¨, αŠ¨α‹ˆαˆαˆƒ, α‰³αˆ…αˆ³αˆ°

So the text could be read like this. "Surprised and happy 20 news from the month of December"

The sabean inscriptions found in the temple have been translated it goes back to the 7th century BC if I remember correctly, it's a few sailors who sailed to the Somali coast for trade, we know it's that old cause they mentionned a sabean king from that era.
