Why do you care what some trap rapper 'allegedly' believes in? His lifestyle alone suggests otherwise along with the bodies (often of people close to him) that seem to follow him wherever he goes just like specters. Stop being naïve.

Its wrong to think and assume some stuff of people you don't know fully, he sins musically and what not but that doesn't stop him from trying to get close to Allah. These videos of rappers quitting or getting interested in the deen is a good way to show these young muslim rappers who think its cool to stop. May Allah Guide him #TOOKA

For many of these artists religion is used as a gimmick or mere theater usually to make them more relevant or soften their image while they continue to make songs about killing their opponents and are an aggregate negative influence on misguided youth often from similar poverty stricken backgrounds. I don't buy it. I don't care for this stuff. And I would never support someone like him. If you're really Muslim (and practicing at that) then leave the industry and make a quiet exit. Don't use it to get some validation or some extra naïve Muslim fans (who clap jubilating from merely claiming the same religious affiliation without any proof beyond word alone).

Beleiving Allah alone makes a difference even if he still continues his lifestyle. The difference between ending up in Jannah or Jahannam.
You can't see into the hearts of people and don't even know that he is Muslim with certitude. You're just trusting him based off his word. I don't think he deserves any congratulations. Let me guess you're a fan/listener of this amateur highly tattooed rapper?

They tried to make janazah for pop smoke and they claimed he was born Muslim.
In 1:05 he says, “I keep a glock when I I’m in church”. That right there should’ve revoke his Muslim card.

I am not a fan of him nor do i listen rap music or english music (i listen mostly Somali music) but if someone says i am a Muslim that should be enough for you to assume he is a Muslim until proven otherwise.
A healthy degree of skepticism is best.
I think we've heard many rumours over the years that certain entertainers (especially those in the music industry were Muslim). It's hard to decipher fact from fiction.

A lot of rappers are like this, there’s a popular uk rapper in the uk called j hus. One minute he’s Muslim, second minute he’s Christian, other minute he believes in paganism and does black magic.

Lil Durk had rough upbringing and managed to get through all that. Allah helped him get through it. But sadly a lot of Mathow people just say they're Muslim but really aren't inside, to them it's just like a "Culture" thing and then don't take it seriously. They say 'Asalam Alaykum" or "Akhi" and stuff but they really not actual Muslims.
