The most fucked up one is GDP per capita, and the corruption. #1 in both.
How the f*ck are you the poorest country on earth by GDP per-capita and at the same time the most corrupt, even more corrupt than North Korea.

The most qabyaliste wouldn't want his or her children living in somalia. They themselves wouldnt want to live there But they are happy with the current politic situation in somalia and spend great deal of time defending their tribal leaders. Its hypocrisy and xaasidnimo. Funny thing is, its these type of people that became leaders and mp's later on

How are these surveys carried out? How trustworthy or comprehensive are they?

For instance, the Corruption Perception Index (CPI) is problematic for a variety of reasons highlighted here: https://politicalreform.ie/2010/10/...cy-international-corruption-perception-index/

I am not saying we don't have problems but I think we need to focus on reality i.e. what is happening on a grassroots level rather than letting surveys/lists dishearten us or lead us to draw incorrect conclusions about our state of affairs.

May Allah highlight our problems to us and enable us to find success in this life and next, Ameen.

There are wolves circling wadankeena who use the way Somalia is perceived internationally to get away with behaving badly. O Allah protect us from these evil individuals and grant victory and unity to the Somali people soon, Ameen.

The GDP per capita one is absolute total bullshit.

Barely anyone in Somalia pays their taxes and the government has no idea how big or small the economy is.

i am positive that mogadishu GDP per capita minus the IDPS is not less than 1000$ ,these agencies dont do any investigation,crap after crap.
